Good afternoon all lovely to see some old friends back on the thread this month I have been so naughty I got cajoled into staying up to watch the boxing with my boy who is a massive Anthony Joshua fan and oh my word I have a rather depressed 19 year old today, what a shock that was, I decided to go to bed for a nap at 5.30 this morning and didn’t wake up until 12.30 and I feel all guilty now

Sorry I missed yesterday, we had a plant fayre at Hodnet Hall in Market Drayton so spent a lovely day there with our son and partner - soon to be wife!!

Lovely catching up on everyones news.
Had a lovely walk into our local town with my youngest today for an icecream afternoon at the local church hall. My Son normally loves icecream but didnt want anything (perfectly happy), so me and my Mom made up for what he didnt have.
Neath, looks like there’s quite a few of you near there, save the date Sunday June 7th next year, I’m teaching on the Saturday and won’t want to drive back after that so I’ll be staying over and going back Sunday. It would be amazing to meet up
If only we’d waited! We went to St. Luke’s church to visit our relatives (and then the Bear inn,) on the same road as Hodnet Hall I believe! I would have liked to have gone to the plant show, but too far to go twice in one week!

Enjoyable day today - I got the boring bits out the way ( paperwork & cleaning), then spent much of the afternoon planting bedding plants in the garden and dodging showers.
