Another late night for me, I really must try to improve my time management skills. Anyone else lose track of time when youâre crafting?
Hope your op goes well Jen @JenStarKnits I used to be an anaesthetic nurse and I know the nurses (and doctors obviously) will look after you well.

Sorry all, a bad last couple of work days! On top of being a dental nurse, and being the health and safety officer for my practice I have been put in charge of Radiography as a whole within the practice, as a few may know I passed my radiography exam during the first lockdown, so only newly qualified. Trying to sort out the mess, that is the folder as it stands and trying to fit all legal requirements, and sort out a new RPA (radiology protection advisor) contract, as requested to do by my employer, who has at the last minute (phoned me this evening at home), now decided to remain with our previous RPA contractor, hours of work down the drain, plus a lot of humble pie I have to eat, with the new possible contractor I was asked to consult with, as I now have to cancel the contract weâve been perusing! Argh! And breathe!!!

@decocraftshop thatâs a lovely runner, a lot of work and a great achievement.
@NOfkantsCurios - oooooh that sounds familiar, being told youâve got autonomy and can go ahead and then being overruled by the hierarchy (after being told it no longer exists) and being left holding the baby. Became immune to it eventually just went around singing Tom Pettyâs âChange of Heartâ! Iâd just tell the supplier a sanitised version of the truth⌠one that makes it obvious what really happened without anything that can come back on you. Good luck with it.
Donât know what happened today, mega busy but didnât achieve much - @DesignsByMLP - didnât even get to the crafting part. Hereâs a relist - this one was a disaster that I always thought I wasnât happy with but when I looked at it yesterday decided itâs much nicer than I thought⌠in person that is, still looks rubbish in the photos

Sorry for my rant! Just cross! And yes I will contact and, in a politically correct way, put the blame clearly where it stands!
Just annoyed! It makes my life easier to stay with the current contractor, but he pushed and chased me to go, forward with this new smaller company, and then got cold feet, literally at the 11th hour, the contract would have started on the 20th of November, canât call it much closer than that. Just hope our current contractor is not too unhappy, or puts any last minute acceptance fees on renewing our contract, if so, hey ho, he asked for it!!!
