Folksy 365 Daily Listing Thread December 2023 šŸŽ„

still quite dark here and we are in the clouds…a bit like London Fog outside. Hilary @Kokoblue I have Tesco and they have a suggestion box for substitutes and when the driver comes he points out the subs and asks if they are acceptable. If they aren’t then he can take them back with him and we are given an immediate refund… I also get an early email on the day saying if there are any subs, so that I am prepared.
right, back to my crochet…the first waistcoat is coming along nicely…x

Happy dancing for your sale Yvonne @JewelleryMori :dancer::dancer:

It sounds very exciting Roz @OrchardFelts

I use Tescos for my shopping and generally speaking the substitutes are better than what I order, but I wasn’t very happy when they substituted cheesy rolls with pork sausage rolls! We’re vegetarian, everything in my basket was vegetarian or vegan and on my notes it says somewhere I’m vegetarian. Apart from that many people won’t eat pork, I dont know what happened to that shopper that day!

That was a heck of a weekend Hilary @kokoblue, hope it all gets sorted out for you.
Have a great Christmas Roz @OrchardFelts and a wonderful time in Australia.
I’ve had some great substitutes from Sainsburys and if there’s anything I don’t like the driver takes it away and I get my refund the same day.
Well the Christmas tree is finally up, OH and myself wrestled it into submission with the help of Charlie greyhound who wanted to play with the baubles, he’s now standing in front of the tree making one of the baubles swing by pushing it with his nose, crazy dog :joy:
All viewed and loved with random pinning.
Have a nice day everyone.

I have decided to close my shop now until the new year. I realised that when I took out the Christmas stock there really wasn’t much there as I had such a good craft fair the other week. I really need some time to plan some new makes and get stitching after Christmas when I can reclaim my sewing room.

I’ll still be popping in here to catch up with news and share some love. Have a great tine Roz @OrchardFelts .

Morning all,
Oh no! So sorry to hear that Alison @FluffStuffCrafts - hope you are over it before Christmas :purple_heart:
Hope things improve, Hilary @kokoblue - exploding washing machines are definitely a bad thing!

I know, you do wonder who sorts out the algorithm they use! I once ordered wrapping paper and they sent paper table cloths!

I may have already replied to this - the reply seems to jump to the bottom of the page and I’m not quite sure if registers with the correct photo. Apologies if it’s a duplicate.

Morning everyone.

No relist for me today but I’ve loved or pinned to here.

My mum has had to go into hospital this morning for a weeks course of intravenous antibiotics. She has bronchiectasis which leads to lots of chest infections and unfortunately medications that she can take at home don’t usually help. Hopefully they’ll manage to get her out again by Christmas.

The ONS covid survey isn’t mentioned much now but my husband and I were part of it previously. We were contacted again a couple of months ago and monthly testing has started up again so at least it’s being monitored in the background.

Hope everyone has a good day and that nothing explodes!

Thought I would dip into the thread and wish everyone a good Christmas and New Year. Try and chill and relax if you can. Hugs and get well wishes to all poorly people, including myself I think. I’ve felt rubbish for about 10 days, but did push myself this morning and do the Tesco shop. Its just me and Hubby for Christmas, so we are just going to chill in front of the TV. He won Wine, beer, chocs and Gin in the pub Christmas draw last night so I think we are sorted!!
Waiting for inspiration in the New Year, seem to have lost my mojo
Enjoy Everyone xx

I’ve just put my shop in holiday mode. I’m disappointed I didn’t get any sales from the craftmas and nottoolate markets. Never had a December like this. Going to have a good sort out of items in my shop. Have new things for next year. Anyway, enough moaning. Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hopefully be back in January. Hope sales get better next year for everyone. xx

I am so sorry to hear about all your disasters Hilary @kokoblue. Why do things always come in batches like that? I do hope that you have a much better week now. Hugs.
