Roz @OrchardFelts … classes sound a fantastic idea…you would need a few spare needles and a box of plasters…lol

Great idea Roz @OrchardFelts and price sounds really good for such a small intimate class. Could you have some materials for sale to take away to make a little more on the side from those who wanted them? I did a needlefelting course a while back and we took the sponge and needle away but I also bought some more wool and a pack of needles as I’d enjoyed it so much…. Now I’m thinking about it i think I’d like to do some more :grinning:

Trying to paste my relist but it’s not playing ball…

Here’s a new item in my shop. I’m enjoying the air drying clay!.. this one can also be used as an essential oil diffuser

That’s an amazing idea, Roz. Very reasonable price which I think would be a good introductory offer because I feel you’re worth much more than that. Exciting times. XXX

Roz… @OrchardFelts …not quite the same thing, but when I taught machine knitting classes, I always took loads of yarns etc that were for sale and that often doubled the money that I took for that day…So have plenty of fleece, needles and sponges for sale and what about a printed out guide sheet?( for a small nominal charge.),maybe a tin of small beads for eyes etc?
Just something to think about x

Morning all, sorry to hear your mum is poorly Lorraine @LilacDaisy hope the meds work and she’s feeling well again and home very soon xx. Sending huge hugs to all those poorly too, there’s a lot of covid around again as well as nasty coughs and colds, sending hot toddies and hot water bottles too xx

Sounds a very reasonable price Roz @OrchardFelts as others have said I used to charge £25 for a 3 hour ink art class way back when and always took bottles of ink, paper, gilding flakes etc and made up small starter packs for people and they sold well too.

I’m in the office today last time now for a few weeks and we have our last team meeting of the year with a lunch buffet and quiz so at least it won’t all feel like work  wishing you all a gentle day xx

Morning all

A good idea Roz and agree selling extras is a must. I took a C & G in adult education years ago and they covered all sorts of things with suggestions, very informative. I had a ceramics workshop and FOh d they used to come for a course, then buy bisque items, brushes, paint etc.

Sainsburys delivery today. Have them about every 3 months for things such as washing liquid etc and things we like from there.

Managed some crafting yesterday but now must start the stock take. Have been procrastinating and avoiding but no more!

HAGD xx

Thanks for all the responses and encouragement. Have got a lot to think about and work out but it certainly seems a possibility. Also now thinking along the lines of a couple of kits/tutorials but need to get my photography/video skills honed first!!

Morning everyone.

Thank you for all the kind get well wishes for my mum. She had the first lot of antibiotics yesterday and the consultant said that if they can arrange for someone to visit her at home to administer them she could get her home sooner. The treatment only takes 30 minutes each day so it does seem a shame for her to stay in hospital taking up a bed for a week or more. Hopefully we’ll find out more later.

I have to try to book an emergency dentist appointment this morning after breaking a tooth eating nuts last night - seasonal hazard! It doesn’t hurt at the moment which is something.

I have relisted this birthday card today.

Morning all.

Need to get the Christmas trees decorated today. They’ve been up for 2 weeks now. One still only has lights on, and the other still only has a fairy on the top! :see_no_evil:

Very chuffed to spot that I’ve sneaked into the best-sellers list at number 30

Morning all. Very wet here this morning.
Off to the hospital for my quarterly blood tests this morning.
My back is getting easier but I still can’t stretch up or twist, taking slowly and carefully.
Well done all those with sales.
I’ve been starting to put items for sale ready for when I open my shop again, a work in progress as I can’t sit in one position for very long.
Take care everyone.

Morning everyone,

Happy dancing for your sale Georgina @GeorginaCrawfordArt :dancer:

My tree’s the same Helen @PocketfulCreations although it’s completely bare, it doesn’t bother me as I don’t like it up too early. I have decorated my 3 Christmas cakes though, and made a batch of lemon cheese. That was an exhausting day, I now realise my cake is much too big for the two of us! I need to buy a smaller cake tin for next year.
