Good morning all, weather looks a bit pants out there today not looking great for street parties planned around here, not that we are planning to go to any but there seems to be a few roads closed on the estate today so I hope it stays dry at least for them

Lovely day again yesterday until mid afternoon, then dull and chilly! As Lee said typical just as the cricket starts. Surrey Ladies are playing at Guildford he did think of going but with rain forecast not worth it.
Just in case anyone noticed yes we live in Hampshire and have since ‘79 but born and brought up in Surrey, hence Surrey supporters.

Good morning lovely makers. What a shame about the weather!
We are still converting our living room into a bedroom for the next six weeks for my mum as she is having a hip replacement on Thursday. Any helpful tips for anyone who has any knowledge about this gratefully received!

Make sure she stays on top of her pain meds, does the physio exercises every day, and don’t let her lay around she has to keep moving. The more physio and moving around the better the long term outcome will be. avoid low chairs, and look out for any increase in pain, swelling, or fluid build-up, dont apply any pressure or sleep on that side good luck
