Been very windy on and off, but pouring with rain right now, and I know the high winds are coming. Sat up nice and cosy on my sofa, crochet in hand and watching the build up for the rugby.

My item for today a crocheted beanie or slouchy in the lovely autumn toned Denys Brunton designer yarn.

Sorry @teabreaks I got the wrong end of the stick. If I ever get the stick it’s always the wrong end! Glad you’re not giving up. As you say it keeps you sane.
I’ve got tendon contraction in both hands so I can’t crochet or knit for long periods of time. I’ve moved to an apartment so haven’t got the space for stock. All things combined it’s the right decision for me.

Today’s offering is a chunky knit scarf. I might be wearing it myself it this storm gets worse.

Hello all! Quite a windy/rainy day here on the Isle of Wight, hope the weather brightens a bit in coming weeks so I can take some new product photos, the light is pretty awful even for painting these days.
@RobynCoetzee Love the fat Robin, your glass birds are gorgeous x @TheCornishHare Love the Christmas cards, lovely design x @konyskiw Always loved this painting Kim, such great atmosphere x @SarahDesignsUK Love the tree pendant Sarah, your Pyrography is stunning x @OrukiDesign Love the Holly leaf pendant, I agree 2 months is more than enough time for the Christmas lead up, although every year it seems to creep up on me!
Another relist from me today, hope to get some new photos done soon.

Off to love and pin now. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend; gloomy weather aside. A day of art and craft indoors sounds perfect, maybe accompanied by a large mug of tea and a few biccies

LOL Cat @BabanCat I can;t even pick up the stick ha ha.
I used to get problems with my hands but one day I just had a chat with myself and said that I loved to knit and crochet and would work through any pain…oddly the pain subsided and now I can work for much longer periods of time…positive thinking I suppose.
I for one will be sad to see you go…but hope you can continue to do what you love x

andy @KelandyDesigns I am fascinated…what are you doing in the concert?.
Singing, playing an instrument …??..and what sort of a concert?
Maria @ArtilyEverCrafter , I could never give up…I love what I do…can’t get rid of me that easily…so cancel the party ha ha…
The only difference will be the speed at which I work. Once I get confirmation from HMRC, that I am no longer self employed, I will continue but profits will go to either BHF or to Age COncern (as hubby and I were both volunteer trustees)…x

Shame about the rugby, but in the end the best team on the day won!
Just managed to walk the dog we’re looking after between the showers, she’s usually such a slow walker, unless she sees a cat, but today with the wind up, she was quite brisk, which suited me.
