Hi mi lovley’s, happy Valentines
It has occurred to me today, after promoting the last few Folksy Friday’s with a mosaic board, and slowly learing the way things work here, that I don’t know how to find out who of you are in my area i.e. Bristol/West Country. I would like to include shops more from my locality on my boards so that I can support and become more a part of the local crew. I realised after posting today in particular that I could’nt copy most of the artists in as when I went to do so, their shop names did not come up - and I assumed this was because they were out of the area, am I right in thinking that? Anyway, I don’t mind promoting anyone, but it would be good to know how I can find shops that I can communicate with. If anyone has the answer, please let me know
If you scroll down to the very bottom of the home page it will allow you to see what shops are in different areas. You can narrow it down by clicking on a specific county and then a town.
Liz,
Thank you very much. Isnt it easy when you know how Most grateful to you
You are welcome!
@catpurrjewellery Yes, unfortunately you can’t currently search specific terms in a certain area, but you can browse shops in your local area (as long as they’ve got their location set to display) from the section at the bottom of the homepage, and you can also get to it by clicking the location on a shopfront.
For tagging, if you mean on here then it’ll be because you can only tag shops that have logged in on the forum before. They need to visit here for their forum account to be created and be taggable, and some sellers may have a shop for years and never use the forum.
Sometimes you might also get sellers who don’t show up because their shop name is different to their username, and you’re trying to tag the wrong one.
Oh thanks very much Kim, that makes perfect sense. I appreciate the clarification on that. Have a great weekend
