I am passionate about cocktails and love to create my own recipes. To legitimise my particular brand of dipsomania, I write a cocktail blog where I feature recipes and photograph the results, served in the glassware that I paint. This week, the theme is An Apple a Day… and there are some delicious, fresh and fruity creations.

I stopped blogging when no one ever left a comment or said that they had been to look at my blog…I’d rather spend the time painting or promoting in a different way.

It can be disheartening when no-one pops over or leaves comments :frowning: , I take part in a blog link up and usually get between 5 and 20 comments on those posts. I usually try to get over to at least a couple of blogs listed on this thread and leave a comment or two. I use my blog as a bit of a journal and do a few posts about where I’ve been or what my inspiration was.

I’ve not tried a blog link up, where do you find them?
I always visit at least a couple of blogs when I do a new post and comment but I find it hard commenting on non-wordpress blogs and give up sometimes, it’s the captcha’s!

Todays post is the start of my caption competition
