Hello everyone I am a newbie on here and I also have a question!

Hi all fellow Folksy peeps, I am a newbie on here and have also set up a shop, I can’t wait to start browsing the amazing shops, I have already added items to my favourites so i think it is going to be a costly venture!! lol Just wanted to say a big hello and also ask a quick question … how do I delete an item in my shop if no longer available for sale? Can’t seem to find it but i may be being thick!
Thanks so much
Kelly

Go to Dashboard under Your Shop, then click on Manage Listings and you will see all your items. Click on the item you want, then click on Hide from Sale or Delete.

Welcome to Folksy! Yes, there are indeed loads of items to buy here. Best of luck with your shop!

When a item is sold via Folksy it is automaticially moved out of your shop front but they’ll always be a nice link for people to see but it will say no longer available if someone finds it via google or pinterst or twitter etc etc

If you delete the item, it will delete all the links back to your shop, and if you’ve sold any of them, the photos for the sold item will disappear too. It’s better to hide it from sale, or reduce the stock amount to zero, then the links will still take people to your shop and they may find something else to buy instead.

Hi Kelly, I was going to say the same as Christine (above) has said, you could also replace it with another item but using the ‘edit this item’ facility on the items page (its on the right hand side) that way it saves you losing a listing fee.
Love your jewellery by the way.

HI as a newbie I have a question, and can’t find where to post it.

how do I upload a picture or a URL address to a thread? assistance please

Welcome to Folksy @leathermeister

If you are wanting to show a picture and link to something you are selling, you just copy and paste the URL address into your post.

Lovely belts in your shop.
