Hi there, I’m new to Folksy, having used Etsy for a long time. I’m trying to work out how the Variations work on Folksy and am having trouble. I would like to list a bunch of stacking rings of the same design, but in different widths. Each width is a different price and I would like a customer to be able to pick any width they want from a drop down menu. But that doesn’t work, because each choice from a drop down menu is added to the price of the main listing and cannot be picked separately. Is there a way out? Thank you!
I can’t even find where to add variations at the moment? Where are they please?
it’s under ‘Edit this Item’ in your listing.
You have to put the least expensive option as your main listing and then for all the others just put the additional cost in (not the full amount) and it will add that cost to your main listing cost. So if you had 2 options and option 1 cost £10 and option 2 cost £12 you would put option 1 as your main listing at £10 and add option 2 as a variation at +£2. Hope that makes sense. Think that’s how it works - don’t think there is any way to list cheaper versions as variations.
