I am listing at least one item a day for the whole of April to test if regular listing helps visibility and increases sales…so far this month I’ve had 2 sales which is massive for me! I will let you all know how i’ve got on at the end of the month
I make things in batches as they go through several separate stages. Then I have to wait for the weather to be good enough to photograph. I’m not addicted, I’m currently decorating the hall and landing and getting the garden ready for the summer. As long as I have a good range of stock in my shop I’m happy to leave it. Gecko cufflinks, butterfly brooch, cat box, Owl and Pussycat box and brooch coming soon, though…
I think it does help to list regularly, I have been a bit lapse lately as I put most of my listings on at once when I re-opened my shop last year, but I haven’t really put anything on for a while.
Just waiting for Mark to get his art photographed so that we can get it printed, then I can get his new card range of animals on. And I should get on with getting some new mosaics and jewellery on!
It all takes time tho…
Look at it like this…if there is a high street shop and every time you walk past the window always looks the same, then you tend to stop looking.
SO…try not to list in batches…better to list one item today and another in a few days (or sooner if you can). That way, people know that there is always something new in your shop and they will keep returning for another look !
