I was wondering who’s on IG and what does everyone think of it?
I find it a bit like pulling teeth. I’m not on there that much as I have a lot of followers and engagers on TikTok. Although it’s not for crafts.
I’m pretty familiar with TT algorithms and presume that IGs must work similar.
Does anyone know?
I presumed you were thinking of joining IG by your post but see you already have 652 followers and have been posting for well over a year there… so don’t quite understand why you are asking about IG at this point ?
Because I get very little engagement from IG. There’s maybe 5 people that I constantly engage with and my views are very low. Whereas on TT I get reasonable views, a 25%+ engagement and a very kind and positive community which always supports each other.
That is why I’m asking how everyone else finds it and if anyone knows if how the IG algorithms work. 
I blow hot and cold with IG, I used to get quite a lot of engagement with it, but it is a bit slow at the mo’ I expect it might be because my content is not that engaging, I am over the hill so probably not ‘happening’ enough laughing emoji I am frutejuce over there same as here. Share your instagram and I will go and check you all out.

I don’t post a lot because of low views but thinking of trying to give it another push.
Thanks, I have followed you back. I love my garden, it is my quiet place. I think that is it in one, you have to post every day to keep yourself current. I am not good at doing that. I always post when I make new things but I don’t like to repost stuff, I should though, it may help with engagement.

I do think you are being unduly critical of your level of views :).
I compared your number of followers with two other sellers i know well who have three times as many followers but actually far less engagement, certainly in terms of number of likes. I think your IG is doing really well comparing engagement to number of followers . If it were mine I would build on that, do more posts. Reels and stories generally attract more attention and I find them quite good to do.
