Hi Im a Newby here on folksy and trying to find my address so i can put it on instagram, not sure how to share a link to it so the user can just click on it, Please help! Thanks.

Hi ya,
If you go to your shop front page you can just copy the link from the top of the page & paste this into your bio on FB & Instragram. If you want to put your IG link on to your shop page you can go to the Shop Appearance (Under Shop Settings on your dashboard) and there a section to add all social media links.

Go to your shop front (or whatever other page it is you want to share).
If you’re on a computer, look at the top of the page. You just need to copy this and then paste it into the website box on Instagram (or wherever else you’re promoting)
If you’re on a phone/tablet, it isn’t always so clear. It can be a little different depending on which browser you use, often it shows at the top of the screen and you have to click it and then you get the option to copy (sometimes just shown as an icon with 2 pieces of paper on top of each other). If the address doesn’t show at the top, then you normally have to click on the 3 dots/lines in the top right corner, and (hopefully) there will be an option to copy link there.

Ok, go on to your page on Instagram and click “edit profile”. When you do that, there should be a place that says “website”, and that’s where you need to put the link. If you’re on a phone/tablet, if you’ve copied the link, then hold down on the box under website and the option to paste should come up (make sure the box is empty of anything else before clicking paste). Then you just need to click the tick in the top right to save it.
