That therefore means it has to be your computer display not Folksy @dougfolksy please correct me if I am wrong
It could well be my iPad, although it is new I am not techy as you probably have already gathered, Im even more confused and irritated by it though. I mean surely if im seeing that I can’t be the only person who is, I tried to change the size of my screen but could only make it bigger or bold text and neither made one jot of difference… I give up, this stuff is way beyond my tiny brain capacity.
I still don’t like the fact that its so in your face and potentially advertising other shops, as has been said before it’s a bit like going into Tesco and them saying ‘please don’t buy from our shop, pop over to Asda instead.’ and that would never happen.
It certainly isn’t just you!
If I increase the zoom on my pc screen from 100% to 170% it switches from what I was seeing to a display like what you are seeing so I think @JOYSofGLASS is definitely onto something and you need to change your screen zoom. I don’t have an ipad to play around on but I think the command is a double tap and then pinch in (but that’s probably what you’ve already tried with no joy). It might be worth seeing what the zoom settings within chrome are set to - look for 3 horizontal lines or a vertical line of 3 dots or a gear wheel (which ever one is being displayed is normally top right hand corner somewhere). If I look on chrome (on my phone) its the 3 dots, tapping on that brings up a list including settings - tap on that. Scroll down the page to accessibility and tap on that. Set text scaling to 100%. Reload a folksy listing page - has that changed the display?
Thanks Sasha, ok so, I tried your suggestion, I don’t have accessibility in settings on it, but, I did find browser size (I think that’s what it said) with the option for mobile screen or desktop screen, that’s all, anyway, I switched it to desktop screen but all that did was make everything tiny and left oriented but it still showed the exact same tags in the boxes at the top.
I googled how to change screen setting/size etc on iPad 10th gen and that took me too accessibility from general settings but again all I get is an option to size up or bold, so now I’m thinking it must be something new that apple have done….
Hey ho, I guess I have to live with it, or go back to my old iPad where I don’t see it at all, it does worry me that it will be appearing like that for other people though.
