Hello
I would love to have some recommendations for a light box for product photos. Its for cards and prints so nothing huge or really expensive. I can always upgrade if I make any money
What do you use?
Thanks Siobhan

I use a Fositan light box (I bought it straight from the manufacturers and it was much cheaper than on Amazon etc. about £55.00 I think). Very pleased with it all round - there are 4 different background colours and the intensity of the light is controllable for softer effects. Great for cards and small framed pictures and any items up to about 8/9" cubed (possibly a little more at a pinch). I leave it set up permanently so it is ready for use at an instant but if space is an issue it is really easy to set up and take down again. All round very pleased with it.
Hi, I had been thinking about this, thanks for that info, my sons keep telling me to get one of these but not from where or which one! Its good to get a recommendation.
Thanks @Fififoxi I will go check it out.
I made my own using a large cardboard box and a white pillowcase! Ok, so it’s probably not as good as a bought one, but it helps, and it is a good, cheap way to find out if you like it before you splash out on a ‘real’ one. There are lots of online guides to making one.
Nikki that sounds good too, I’m going to google that, bound to be tutorials on YouTube thanks
Hi, slightly late to this, I have a folding one, have had it for years, looks like a small portfolio when collapsed and came with two spotlights and a camera tripod.
Background cloth is either grey or blue. Lots of them seem to have leds let into their tops these days. Really small ones at around £10.
I bought a mid range lightbox and I am really happy with the product. It cost £29 so not cheapest or dearest. It’s a nice fold down box but small. Photo is one of my crystals I photographed. I liked it for quality and the background.
It was a Puluz 25cm lightbox off Amazon
Thanks for that lightbox tip that is a good price, your photo is great and a lovely item too. I think I will go online for one, I tried to make a DIY version without a lot of success!! lol
@SeaPinkCards about 18 months ago I bought this massive lightbox that was around £100. You could fit a a small child in there. It was useless and difficult to assemble and disassemble.
Good luck and pleased I could help
Thanks a million it’s a massive learning curve, if we were professional photographers it would be a breeze
@SeaPinkCards I am but use my phone these days…to old to be running around at weddings
Brilliant love it lol. I got a new phone few months ago with some amazing features for photos, when I figure them out it will be amazing lol
