A relist from me today, the light is almost non-existant at the moment, I’m thinking of experimenting with my craft lamp as it claims to be as good as natural daylight (it’ll only cost me a bit of time even if it doesn’t work out)

Just 6 days to go before my holiday. Hubby has decided to man my shop when I go so hopefully it will keep him occupied and he won’t miss me too much,

Good morning (just!) The time just flies doesn’t it? I’ve spent two hours just catching up on Facebook and going through this thread. I’ve done the morning stint at work and the housework though so can pick up my needles this afternoon and evening.
Just a couple of thoughts I’ve had this morning (yes it does happen sometimes 
) if we have already loved an item, is it beneficial to unlove and re-love? Also when pinning, I still pin any items that have already sold before I’ve had chance to come to the thread as, although the item is out of stock, it could still direct someone to folksy - anyone else do this?

I’ve just checked with my husband - he’s a commercial photographer and teaches product photography - and he advises you put the lamp above the card (so shining down on it) and at a 45 degree angle so the light isn’t reflecting off the card into the camera and it should work. If the card is highly textured you may have a problem and it will only work if you have 2 lamps (an standard angle poise desk lamp may work).
For everyone else that usually takes photos in natural light and is struggling because of the horrid grey weather we’ve got, this tip might work for you too
