Patricia @silverbirchstudio there is such a thing as being too stoical ! It was 3 days before my best friend’s husband admitted he thought he had a stroke after it hd got so bad he couldn’t put his coat on - he been carefully hiding it from her until then. He was marched off to hospital pretty promptly at that point ! Luckily it only affected his left arm and nearly 2 weeks later he’s starting to get use back - but at only 54 it was a bit of a shock. Scared him into giving up smoking though
I’ve loved and pinned to here and hope to pop back with a listing shortly but I’m feeling rather fluey so may hit the sofa instead
Loving those pretty little primroses Gill @rainbowsnmore. Gorgeous.
I survived the customer. Just waiting for her to call me and say she now doesn’t want the jewellery (again) I don’t want to do any more commission work for a while… unless it is for a nice person of course!
Hope you are all ok. That sounds awful Karen @silvertreejewellerydesign. He must have been terrified to not have told his wife. Such a shame he waited to get things sorted. Why are men so difficult and proud at times? So glad he is on the mend now though xx
Gorgeous Angela - even although I don’t do early dawn myself
A new listing. Some bead stringing today - the first technique I learned and one I still like to revisit now and again. These crystals are all left over from different projects. I keep pots of ‘bead soup’ on my desk, where all the little orphaned beads go. I was about to chuck this lot in when I realised how lovely the colours looked together, and this necklace was born
Mine for today x

Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign - I think you’ve hit the nail on the head. It looks like he had the actual stroke the Thursday before New Year’s Eve and went to hospital on New Year’s day but he admitted it to a friend while they were out on New Year’s Eve. I guess he kept it from Lynda as that would’ve made it real.
The necklace is lovely Jane @Beadseedz - I did a similar thing before Christmas, but with bags and bags of beads strewn all over my workshop floor. It’s a lovely way to be inspired, great to use up unloved but lovely beads and challenges you creatively too I found, which was very satisfying
Have managed a listing but will now head for the sofa for lunch and see if food revives me at all
So - earrings to match the necklace listed yesterday:
A new listing today, one that I managed to photograph with my craft lamp as the main light source (I was next to a window but it was grey and gloomy) hope it looks OK
this afternoon i have a watercolour relist to show you.
.
Thanks I do dawn rarely but like the idea!
Thanks Karen. These earrings are stunning! I do hope that you feel better soon and that the dreaded 'flu doesn’t develop. Plenty of hot drinks and give yourself a bit of TLC.

So sorry to hear the news on poorly families and friends, I hope all improves soon!
No new car as yet, so have been stranded at home as hubby has my car, he’s seen one he might like, and is on night shift tomorrow, so when I ma at work, he is going to go and take a look at it, fingers crossed.
