Blue skies Saturday posting, shaving brush or makeup as the knot is a soft one, being vegn friendly..
@underneaththeeaves Donna, I am sorry to hear about your grand father, hope he is comfortable and gets the care he needs.
Morning everyone ![]()
Sorry to hear about your Grandad Donna @underneaththeeaves I hope heâs feeling better this morning.
We have a 70th birthday party to go to this afternoon. It should be good catching up with lots of old friends, Bill spent years teaching my children juggling skills when they were young, unicycle, fire eating, dance, poi to name but a few, and they often went out on gigs with him all over the country. Only one has continued, he plays the accordion with a morris dancing side and in a Ceilidh band. So your morris dance for my sales yesterday Susan @SusanBettyArt was very apt.
Hugs to Donna @underneaththeeaves
Spent yesterday making some new covers for the boxes I use for display at craft fairs. Been meaning to do it for ages. Not sure why it took me all day but I donât seem to have achieved anything else!!
On a mission now to sort and tidy the house, it has been a bit neglected over the last few weeks. Also got to pop up to the gallery as I got a call last night from one of the people who had been on duty saying they couldnât make the sales from yesterday add up!!
Another bunny from me today
Morning allâŚa bit overcast at the moment but due to brighten up laterâŚI hope it does as our road is having a street party laterâŚdancing in the street, quiz, karaoke etcâŚit is always a lot of funâŚ
It is a cul de sac and so we all just take our chairs outside and enjoy ourselves. It is such a lovely road to live in.
There is no particular celebration but we have done this every year since before lockdownâŚthe canopy is already up for the lovely neighbour who always cooks burgers and supplies food and refuses to take any contribution towards itâŚ
today I am sharing one of my landscape paintings
.
Morning all. Happy birthday to Donna @underneaththeeaves combined with a big hug for your grandad.
Hope those with busy weekends ahead have a good time. Weâre off to the wedding of a young couple at our church. It will be interesting as the bride is Brazilian and so part of the service will be in Portuguese as well as English. Mr WTC is responsible for doing the tech stuff so that family around the world can join the service online. Rather him than me!
Some more covers for pots of dips today.
My husband is involved with the techy stuff at our Church, so I empathise with you! So stressful!!! When he presses a button to move on to the next slide, and nothing hapoens, and everyone turns round and stares. And like you, I always say Rather him than me. Hope it alll goes well for MrWTC.
Good Morning All
Enjoy your day Sue @SueTrevor âŚ.thatâs some coincidence ![]()
Iâm heading to Perth today. We are meeting some friends and then going to the theatre later. I will catch up with your listings, news and sales later tonight. Wishing you all a lovely day.
Good morning,
A day of jobs at home today I think. Also FiL is popping round for a cuppa so will make a cake (or two)
Plants for pond are coming in the next couple of days. Last night we were treated to a flying display by the swallows swooping down over it again and again for a few minutes which was pretty to watch. At the moment itâs all ugly black liner to sort out but itâs coming on.
Hope your grandad had a comfortable night Donna @underneaththeeaves and happy birthday ![]()
Just a relist
Hi Sarah, welcome to the forum, and Iâm glad your account was sorted.
Your shop is looking lovely, and your prints are fabulous. You may want to include the note about them being personally designed, created, printed and framed by you into the listings - customers love the story of how we create.
EDIT - I think I did misunderstand as Liz @PatchworkPackages has confirmed you are liking her listings over in Folksy, but below is my original post for context.
I may have misread your post - apologies if I have, but I thought it worth a quick check. For the challenge, you need to favourite the actual listings over on the Folksy website by clicking on the heart under the price, not the posts on here.
Many of us also heart each post here on the Forum as a note to ourselves that we have favourited that item - and if we want to acknowledge/like something thatâs been mentioned a post - but it is the favouriting in Folksy itself that gets our listings shown on the front page.
Donât worry if you havenât done it correctly so far (many of us got muddled when we started). You donât need to go back and do days and days worth, just pick up from today, or yesterday if you wish
.
Morning,
Sorry to hear about your Grandad Donna @underneaththeeaves
Nothing new to list so wonât bother with a relist.
Off out for the day very soon so will return later.
Lou x
Wishing everyone a good weekend, whatever you are all doing.
Today is our regular visit to our daughterâs. The LA had finally arranged social care for her, but after a couple of weeks they stopped coming and they had to arrange a different agency, who then never turned up at all. It has caused her to use a lot more energy that she hasnt got trying to sort it out than if she had tried to do her jobs herself. So it is back to Mum and Dad to help out. I have just batch cooked a big pan of mince and veg for her freezer and will spend my day changing her bed and cleaning her kitchen, bathroom etc. I think she wants me to trim her hair too! That will be fun.
I know you have been so looking forward to my last batch of knitting patterns (!), so here they are. This time for menswear. Lots and lots of instructions at a bargain price. Hope there is someone out there who can use them
Good morning everyone we have just had and unexpected shower which is welcome but I would like it to stop now as we want to pop to Teignmouth for the farmers market and mini Craft Fayre which happen in the last Saturday of the month - I did one Fair in May and will do another in November - it is small so they limit you to two goes a year.
Sarah @sarahsouthworth following on from Sharonâs post I can see you have loved several of my pieces so you are doing the challenge right. Good luck with your shop.
Brenda @teabreaks enjoy your street party
for the weather.
I am pleased to say I got a lot of traffic to my shop after plugging my jewellery pieces on social media - no sales but at least people are looking.
A bead and needlefelt âcharmâ bracelet today with a bit of simple macrame work:
Morning all, a bit overcast here and a little oevernight shower - which the garden and allotment are grateful for.
Today itâs the last of a batch of bookmarks I made this month, using fabric scraps. Apologies to lovers of classic childrenâs books - Iâve shamelessly appropriated at least two for this one!
So sorry to hear about your granddad, Donna @underneaththeeaves, hope he improves soon
Hope all goes well with your daughter Liz @samazama
To all out and about on visits and having celebrations today - enjoyâŚ
Hi all, thank you for all your lovely words and messages.
My grandad is stable but it was annoying 20 minutes after we left him in the hospital got a phone call to say he had fallen out of bed and damaged his arm, even though they knew he has dementia and risk of wandering, the bed rails had not been put up !
Waiting for an ultrasound of his heart today x
Good Morning, Folksy seems to be working a bit weird this morning, anyone else? Just updated a listing and the tags were a long list with commas? And this looks a bit weird here too. V Strange!
You are welcome Donna @underneaththeeaves xx
A sale for me @SusanBettyArt
This is a relist for Christmas in July
Sorry to hear about your Grandad Donna @underneaththeleaves, hope he improves and gets his ultrasound quickly. xx
Hello
Have a lovely street party today, Brenda @teabreaks
