Busy day with Brass exams for my boys - Grade 4 and Grade 8 and then my youngest doing her first ever Clarinet solo in the school concert tonight! Nerves all round for me - luckily they are super chilled!!

Good morning. We had a day to ourselves yesterday so went off to see the red kite trail at Gateshead’s Derwent Valley. We’ve had a plan to do this for ages. My son went back to school today, he still needs his inhaler occasionally but is self managing.

@thecuriousartofmadamej I think most people get more sales on whichever shop their facebook links to; I think it is hard to be competitive in 2 places. I’ve been here for a couple of years and have over 500 sales yet when I opened an e*** shop I had no views and no sales. Promoting yourself on social media is very important, I get about 2 sales a month with little effort but 10-15 if I post on here and facebook.

Ooo looks like well both be moving on the same day Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign - although I won’t be moving into my new place til 15th as it is a 3-4 hour drive away. Hope it all exchanges - it all happened very quickly in the end for me.

Thank you. Jewellery making is how I first started out, knitting came much later. I still like to dabble now and again.
I have received the message that my account is affected. Hoping they will remove any negative comments if I get any due to it. Yet another reason why I keep payment options separate.
Wow, Synchronised moving Roz! A new Olympic sport maybe? I am facing the move with mixed feelings, as the ‘new’ house is in a terrible state and needs completely refurbishing. The person who lived there before us was a heavy smoker for many, many years and it hasn’t been altered since the 60’s. Lots of tar and nicotine everywhere. Not a great environment for four children, but the potential is great. I just hope we can get it into a liveable state quickly. A sledge hammer and white vinegar to wash the walls (those that are left after the sledge hammering) will be my new best friends for months to come. I hope your new home is much nicer than mine and you will have a smooth, stress free transition to your new home xxx
