Thank you all for all of your well wishes (too many of you gave me good thoughts that I cannot tag you all)
So, if you are in the area of Farnborough, please stop in and check out the shop – who knows, it might be something you’d be interested in for your own works. I also want to mention there is another place similar in Egham (in Surrey) called Egham Artisans. For my work, The Crafter’s Collective has a bit of an ‘alt’ feel to it, and my leather work fits in better there, I wasn’t sure the one in Egham was a good fit for my work. But I would love for you all to come and check out both locations (and I am sure there are plenty others of these types of shops popping up all around) for you to possibly rent space and put your things out for sale.
Hi there,
I would recommend just going into any of these types of stores (as like I said, they are popping up all around the country), see what types of crafty things they sell and just chat with the sales people in the shop – they love to talk about what is in the store and can help you decide if you want to rent space from them for your things. (maybe even bring a piece or two of what you have made to show them as an example). Just go in there with love in your heart for your products and it will shine through when you talk about it to the sales people about possibly selling your stuff through their shop.
Good morning everyone,
Amazing news for your brother Jennifer @JenStarKnits , pleased to hear your personal health is getting better as well! x
Emma @QuirkyOwlStudio could you please say a big thank you to Claire on my behalf? I just saw her fantastic review and would like her to know how much I appreciate it!
Thank you Sharon @TheOldButton for hosting this month.
I’m really going to try to post daily this month. That being said I run a dog rescue and we’ve got a lot happening this month including the paperwork to become a CIO.
I have my pen with me today and have written as many names as I can and I’ll support you on IG.
Morning, it’s been a few months since I was last here and even though I’ve been popping in to try and keep up with news I’ve missed posting.
Spent yesterday tackling another area of the garden so didn’t make it but have been and visited you all today.
I’m going to try to add lots of new items this month so can hopefully last the month.
Morning all, thank you all for the lovely welcome back.
Hopefully the other’s have answered your questions @teabreaks - although my issue relates to forums and not Folksy itself - I’ll still be able to sell, just not maybe catch up here unless I’m on my phone which is a total pain with a small screen.
First swim after op this morning - bit odd doing just a one arm front crawl, I hate breastroke as I feel like I’m going nowhere but it was good to be back in the pool. Lots of stretches and using the water for resistance as still not allowed to weightbare too much.
Hoping for a busy month, could do with clearing out some stock as moving rooms and the less I have to carry about the better.
Good morning all - just. Well done on all those sales, Mel @aquilacrafts and good luck with your shop adventure @Little1Leather.
So far I have located one previously unlisted item, though there are undoubtedly more. Tractor for a four year old
My OH has taught me that there isn’t much you can’t find out from a Google search. It’s always worth searching for what you want to know as you won’t be the only one needing that info. There will probably be Youtube videos telling you exactly what to do to download an update or whatever is needed, when the time comes. Fear not Brenda! You manage a lot of IT, so you’ll crack it.
Afternoon all,
Glad to hear your op went well, Jen @JenStarKnits and wonderful news about your brothers progress too.
Jennie @TwistedbytheSea , I can’t get the Instagram link from your shop to work?
I notice we now only have volunteers left for July - I can’t do August, but am happy to volunteer for September, Sharon @TheOldButton
