Morning everyone. Congratulations on all the sales. Well done and a huge sigh of relief, to all of those whose children and grandchildren have sat exams. Hope that the poorly people feel much better soon.
I too have just about had enough of this weather. I live with and am a full time carer for my lovely Dad who is 95. Its too hot for Dad to go out and too hot for me to push his wheelchair.

Deborah my Doctor rung me yesterday to see how I was. Asked him about the nettle tea, a no go as too acidity for my stomach. I have major problems in that area, in fact falling apart at the seams,

I had some potting up to do in the greenhouse and a few garden jobs, so been out 5 til 7 for the last few days while the temperature is still cool.
My Art Club are having an exhibition this weekend in a lovely village that has its Open Gardens event. Its usually a really good weekend

Good morning everyone, I am so pleased to say I am now Covid free! Although our trip to Florence was amazing it sadly came with a catalog of incidents. Firstly my phlebitis flared up making walking in the heat unbearable, the hotel wasn’t too great - 45 stairs to climb every day - the cost of everything had almost doubled - hubby caught Covid & kindly shared it with me - then sadly waiting in Florence airport we had a message from OH’s niece saying her dad - OH twin brother didn’t have long to live! We got home to find our freezer had defrosted & we lost all our food!
Beginning to wish we’d never gone - but now Covid free but sadly OH’s brother passed away before he could visit him!
his is why I’ve been fairly quiet since we came back!
Anyway this me - I hope all who are poorly get better soon - it really is not the weather to be poorly in - I like the sun but it’s just too much atm.
Well done to those who have had sales - it’s on wards & upwards as they say.

So sorry Shirley and Mr Swag. What a shame. I have found over the years always ill on holiday’s abroad to not bother now and have a picnic in the back garden, such a saddo

Finished the Birthday card for a crafting friend on the 4/7, think will now go and sit in the shade.
Easy luck for me salad, Lee states he is allergic to rabbit food so have to cooker him! Fish cakes and rice!

Just a quick question. Do any of you send out emails when you’ve posted your item to them to say it’s on the way etc? I ordered something from Folksy (sorry not one of you as it was something else I wanted) - and she sent me an email saying thanks for your order which is being sent today etc and review would be appreciated etc and also added the invoice at the bottom. This seems a good idea and just wondering if many people do this. It’d also save having to print out the invoice and send it with the item. She sent a printed thank you/contact details note with it but nothing else.
Anyway here’s another card from me:
