@MuddMade , I found a page called anniversaries, click the menu icon between the search magnifying glass and your avatar, top right of this page then click on anniversaries, there are four choices; today, tomorrow, upcoming and all. All can be narrowed down by month, be prepared for a lot of scrolling and, from what @JOYSofGLASS says above, and when I looked again, there were a lot of anniversaries on 31/3/14, so perhaps it was Folksy playing catch up and is probably not accurate for shops before that date - and it isn’t really clear what anniversary it means either, but it is about right for me opening my shop in October 22.

If you favourite my shop (or anyone else who’s willing to look) I will tell you x
Mick Thank you. I think that is the anniversary of joining the forum not Folksy. And the forum was reintroduced in its current form about then in 2014 so that explains that date. Thank you xxxx
And think I now have 9/4/2009 for my Folksy join date which would be right for my first sale date

Carol @Knittingtopia Thank you xxxx
You’re very welcome ![]()
Yes, that seems to be what happens, there is no distinction between sold out and hidden items when you click the link. Confused the heck out of me when I first did it too!
Hi Carol @Knittingtopia I have favourited your shop (hopefully
I am never too sure if I do it right) anyway if you could tell me if I haven’t please. ![]()
Blimey Mick @SteampunkCreativeEngineering there are loads of things if you look isn’t there
and I just did to find myself on the anniversaries list
and yes loads of scrolling… started with Jan which obviously came up 1st as didn’t click you could narrow down the month doh
then June, then at random Nov and nothing… then I clicked on my avatar and dropped it down and it actually gives you the date you joined the forum there, mine was May 2021 apparently, so I went back and checked and yup it was there! So Joy is right they are when you joined the forum.
So no wiser to the date I opened my shop, but fits more it is probably the June and hopefully Carol will confirm.
Thank you Lynn @LooneySpoons for that, something I didn’t know, and find it a bit odd and yes confusing!
Mmm…
Here you go.

Oh thanks Carol @Knittingtopia although that’s confused me more (that date)
but honestly these days it doesn’t take much! ![]()
You’re welcome.
I’ve favourited yours and @JOYSofGLASS shops in return (it’s only fair!
) so if you go to your dashboard and click on ‘who favourites your shop’ you should see me and the date I joined (I already know my date so no need to check for me)
That’s the only way I know of finding out the date, to favorite someone’s shop and get them to look and let you know.
Edit: @MuddMade I wonder if maybe you joined folksy before you actually opened your shop and that’s why the dates don’t match with what you think?
Aww thank you Carol
and yes I’ve just looked and you’re there. Actually looking though there are some anon ones, I take it they are now ones who’ve closed their shops on Folksy?
On the date, yes you could well be right. I know I was looking at Folksy for a while before opening and getting my shop up and running, so that will be it.
it is my first and only online shop, I do have a website, but just an information one that directs all to here.![]()
Yes, they anon ones are those who have since left folksy. It’s a shame they’re not taken off the list when they leave.
Ah thought so Carol but thank you for confirming it. Folksy is such a lovely community, always someone to help.![]()
