Busy so far. The kiln’s on, the children have been packed up to school and I’ve walked to Waitrose for the weekly shop. I’m putting my feet up with a cup of tea now before applying to teach a new course (still with the OU but on global health care, I currently teach a foundation in health and social care and a module on health theory). I need to catch up on some students as well.
Many thanks for all get well wishes, feel almost back to normal now. So annoying!!! but there is always another day. My brother who I was visiting, has kidney problems, and he said he was very tired on Sunday, when we would have arrived, so it was the best thing all round. A kind of karma - how odd!!! Hopefully next time we will both be in top form
Megan @SoSewMegan - gorgeous picture of newlyweds, wishing them a happy and healthy time together.
Another gorgeous morning. Just off to have a pedicure then I might think about sewing. You must all be sick of seeing the same old things in my shop.
Hope everyone is well today

Hi Sally, that sounds so simple but I’ve been trying with my new camera for weeks and I just can’t get anything to look like it should! Colours all wrong or focus all wrong - are you using the standard lens that came with your camera or do you use a macro (or its that just for really close up stuff?).
Lorraine, I chose a Panasonic bridge camera with a fixed 25-400 zoom lens. I have noticed that when I was using automatic mode and doing close up work for my shop, the camera automatically chose the Macro setting. I’ve just taken some photos of a new phone cover and started in manual mode with the standard settings that he gave me. First photo was too dark so I changed the aperture from 5.6 to 2.8 - much, much better - the lower the number, the more light the camera will let in. Then I changed the ISO from 200 to 400 and got the photo I wanted. It seems it’s just a bit of trial and error. Message me if you want to discuss further.
Thanks Sally, need to find a free day to really spend some time on it. Took loads of photos last week, and thought they looked great on camera but were awful when I downloaded them. What looked white on camera was just yellow and no amount of photoshopping made it look right. Was thinking about giving it up and just carrying on with phone photos but it seems such a shame when I’ve got a camera sitting there!! Yours look great by the way!
Gosh, lots of you having a tough time just now one way or another. I do hope things improve for you all. I’m working on some new designs just now, so it’s a relist again from me today.
Had a long dental appointment today then did some supermarket shopping. Don’t think I’ll get around to making anything now so here’s a relist. Back to read and catch up later on.
Roz @OrchardFelts I don’t know how you have the energy to tackle the entire house. I’ve still got stuff boxed up from when I left home 15 years ago that hasn’t seen the light of day and I’ve moved twice since then.
Carol @Knittingtopia so pleased you got your medication sorted - hope it will do the trick.
Colleen @MidnightStarDesigns hopefully your OH can get the help and medication he needs.
Deborah @DeborahJonesJewellery good luck with the bunnies - you might find now that they are at your house and it’s ‘neutral’ territory, they might get on better together.
