Is that the Wirksworth Festival? I have heard of it. Not tried this festival as it is a little far for me to go. I have done smaller ones where they want to vet your work before they even consider you for a table. Then there are the application forms…that is another story all together!
Yes, the festival, it’s a little bit far for me too, but I quite like this sort of fair so I thought I’d try, but writing a cv is beyond me at the moment! Not only that, it will be taken into consideration, so as I’ve really cut back on the number I do, I can’t see me standing a chance!

I too have fair applications waiting for attention, deadlines are creeping closer- it is such a palaver , photos as prints, photos on discs -qualifications blah blah. I don’t have the head space , but will get around to it as the sales are usually well worth it.

I applied and got in ( twice the number of applicants to spaces) to the fair at Burnham Market last year… then couldn’t do it as was in hospital! However I wrote a letter, used my folksy banner as a heading and enclosed a collage of my items. Don’t know if that helps.

Congratulations Colleen! @MidnightStarDesigns. At the rate I’m going, I won’t live long enough to make 300 sales! Interestingly, although I haven’t sold a thing on Folksy since mid-Dec, over the past week (i.e. since contributing to this thread), I’ve sold four items on the other side, all to American customers! Oh well… 
Anyway, am trying to get ahead as my mum will be staying for a few days over the weekend. Today, I have listed a pair of spiral earrings.
I hope the poorly ones among you will soon be feeling better Jx

Evening all, hope you have had a good day.
My daughter went back to school today , but I had the call to collect her by 1pm, having to do PE scantily clad in the cold wind finished her off. Not feeling great myself, eyes feel dried out and itchy and nose is running ( hoping it’s not an allergy to bunny fur - cats do it to me, and it’s similar fur

Well my workmen have now gone, scaffolding down, skip gone YAY!!! So been busy tidying everything up, brushing, etc Be nice not to think about workmen appearing at 8am!!!

Yay - a few more hours in the loft and I think it is just about there, I have been brutal - I mean really when am I ever going to need my old university exam papers - have kept my old school reports though and had a good laugh at them with my daughter as they could easily have been written about her! Got about 10 boxes of various bits and pieces that the girls have got to sort through - mainly old school work, drawings etc that can probably be binned, about 5 boxes of stuff for ex to sort out and a little pile of things that I want to keep. At least its organised chaos now
Next stop my bedroom but tomorrow and friday are dedicated me days and I plan to do some felting, craft fair on Saturday and possibly another car boot on Sunday.

Hi all,
Just popping in with a quick listing. I have spent the last two hours composing a letter to the Post Office cataloguing
all the problems we’ve had since signing up for our Broadband with them in early November. You wouldn’t believe it. I’m exhausted!!!
