My Invoice Address

I have just had my first sale -yay! I have just prepared to print the invoice to include with the goods and noticed that my business name does not appear anywhere on the invoice, only my name. I have searched high and low to see where I can add the business name or amend my my name to business name but I can’t find anywhere to let me do this. Please can anyone help with this?

Not 100% sure but it may pick up your name from what you entered on the ‘shop appearance’ tab on the dashboard. I only say this as I have entered my full name under “addresses” and a shortened version under “shop appearance” and it is the shortened version that appears on my invoices. Someone else may know for certain

Many thanks, that really helped. I put my personal name under 'your name (optional) on ‘shop appearance’ and put business name on top line of address on ‘shop location’. Folksy doesn’t appear to read ‘shop name’ on shop appearance.

Thanks again.

Hi, if you go to your dashboard click shop appearance and scroll down, you will see a box that asks if you want to show the shop name, tick this to show the shop name and save, your shop name will appear on your home page under your banner and should print onto your invoices.
I have my own banner so I dont use shop name but this is what you need to tick

Thanks Tracey, I have just looked at that and it is already checked, but the problem is resoled. I appreciate you taking the time to answer. Do you remember me - Julie from Bag Clasps Ltd??

Yes, December 2019 - just before COVID. I wanted to do something creative Bag Clasps left me no time to do anything. So silversmithing now, love it :grinning: how are you?

Hi Julie, good thanks although sales have dropped dramatically and now I have an issue with the bag frame supplier in China, but hopefully that will get sorted in the new year.
Happy New Year, I hope is a properous one for you

Hi Tracey, sorry to hear about sales, but they do go up and down don’t they. Not only that, it’s a very competitive line of work. I did bag making before I sold supplies and decided to go for target customers to better target customers and reduce competition eg bags for knitters (accommodate 35mm needles and pockets for notions) also bags for lacemakers to keep their cushions (huge) but that’s some years ago  Sure things improve for you soon. Best wishes for the new year xx
