Not a bad evening/mornings work.

Looks like its got a lovely drape to it and indeed a very good evening/ morning’s work.

Thanks @SashaGarrett Sadly its a tiny size 12 with a 28" waist so theres no way I can try it on to see what it looks like. I said I wouldnt buy anymore fabric but I have a pattern to make a bigger size so I may have to get more fabric afterall. I may keep it for myself. Mwoahhaaha(evil laugh)

@GrimmExhibition Given the diet/ weight loss give yourself a month and slip it on? Ready for the summer garden parties… (I can just see it on someone with a big brimmed hat, oversized sunglasses and a cocktail in hand)

Ha! That would be nice. I could do with a cocktail right now actually.

Apologies to Sasha Garrett, I have still only knitted that extra inch up to nearly the armhole of my spring cardi! I got side tracked by the garden and allotment, and enticed to go all green fingered in the sunshine, oh dear! Then reading about the flock of flamingos about to grace our pages I thought I had better make something for the shop, as I havent listed anything for 2 weeks!, so last night started a new ladies coat hanger in lovely greys and green.
So I admit I need help!, more motivational talk needed!, one project at a time maybe, or maybe just get on with it! But its good to read about others finished work, well done,
suzzie x

I’ll let you off Suzzie, I have an allotment and garden so I know the lure of those things (potatoes/ onions/ garlic/ broadbeans are in, asparagus is coming up, toms/ courgette/ peppers/ aubergine all on the window sill for a little while longer before they go to their newly prepared home in the poly tunnel) and now its getting lighter for much longer its not as if you get an evening of knitting in before bed. So finish the coat hanger today and then back to the cardi - I’ll be checking out your listings so I’ll know if you’ve been slacking :grinning: . Just think about wearing the cardi in the cool evenings with a glass of pimms (or g&t) in hand. (just realised that I keep posting about being in gardens with drinks, what must you think of me, but that is how we roll here in Cambridge)

Thank you, children camped on Very small lawn last night so no gardening today as it is full of pink nylon (girls tent), so it is prepping bed and putting up frame for sweetpeas today and weeding fruit cage, so if fingers arent still tingling from pulling stinging nettles that think its an easy life in there, I WILL KNIT. Think I will save glass of something happy to celebrate when coat hanger is listed, mmmm maybe not, maybe thirsty before then!, as it is here in sunny Suffolk, x

Save the happy juice for after the work is finished - you don’t want people complaining about wonky seams or uneven stuffing do you now?

Your skirt is glorious and so vibrant

Love your skirt

I’ve got a pink flamingo dress from Henry Holland and it’s my favourite item of clothing.

Thanks my lovlies.

I want to start a new project of a black dress but I need to overlock it, and guess what, I can only find 3 of my 4 spools of black overlock thread. Im off to hunt for it again or read the manual to see if I can overlock with 3 spools… 2 minutes later. I can use 3 threads!! Just seen the section in the manual, why didnt I read it 2 days ago, all that time Ive wasted!!

Apologies once again for the awful photo but this black lace on black dress doesnt photograph well. It is jet black fabric, hopefully you can see that i n the lace photo.

Another offering nearly finished.

My new dress idea is to make the above dress (new brighter pic of finished dress here) with this stripey nautical fabric.
