Going to see a potential outlet on Wednesday to sell my items in. I was asked this morning via Facebook if I was interested. I thought it would be good because her prices are very reasonable and wants to take my things all year round if its popular.

When you get people contacting you asking if your interested in putting your items in their shops etc it really makes you think your actually doing something right.
They said they like the look of my Single stemmed Flowers so it was a good idea to introduce them into my shop.
Congratulations. I’d say, when you get a break, take it. I wish you all the good luck in the world, but I’m sure you’ll be fine. You have some lovely items in your shop 
Maybe one day I’ll have the same good fortune…
I’ve been quite lucky in the past with outlets. Up to last year I was selling my crafts in another shop which is in the same town as where this new one is, but that has now closed down. I did pretty good sale wise. Its also fairly close to where I live so I am able to go there on a regular basis to keep an eye on my stock.

Congratulations Pauline! It’s always so encouraging when complete strangers are interested enough to make contact … if you feel able to share the information, I’d be interested in what sort of percentage agreement you come to with the shop (I am very amateur at this and so grateful for interest, I am probably under-selling which I suspect is a common problem for us craftworkers). A local shop has taken some of my bags and we operate on a 60% (me) . 40% (them) arrangement, which seems fair.

Had a very successful day today with my items. Shop isn’t quite up and running at the moment but they hope to be very shortly. Hopefully still in time for the holiday makers, late breaks etc. It’s almost in the center of town and whilst I was there were lots of people walking past, so plenty of footfall.
