Good morning celebrating my (hopefullly) long return with a brand new picture from me, only just listed - hope you like it

(Tina Martin) #4

Hi everyone, it’s been a long time since I’ve been on this thread, just have trouble trying to fit everything in, you know how it is.

My ‘windy’ tree

Hi everyone, I haven’t painted much in ages, I am fixated with bracelets at the moment, but Trevor’s lovely picture @ArtBox reminded me of one of my favourite places in Cornwall and I, too, have something inspired by the place. The original painting was a commission, but they are happy for me to use the image to sell other things like this set of coasters:

Hi all, here’s my watercolour painting of Poppies.

stunning painting Graham

I have another aceo today

(Trevor Harvey) #8

Morning all, been busy updating my shop on here and digging out a few items for listing - here’s today’s offering:

That’s a great painting of yours Graham, I love poppies

Cheers Trevor, I need to learn how to get the best from my camera because I’m not happy with the colour reproduction, the painting simply looks better in the flesh.

May i ask, who painted the Culver Down original, was it you? Like it.

(Trevor Harvey) #10

Hi Graham, it’s actually a photograph of mine which I have manipulated into the picture as listed…

It might help to use a photo editing programme just to get the picture looking as you want - I use Picasa which sadly Google have now discontinued, but there are other alternatives - just did a quick Google search and it came up with this:

Good Morning, some really amazing art on this thread, I’m putting on my sunny sunshine happy sunflower, I have this in a Giclee Print, this is a great all year round wall decor to brighten your home on dull winter days, and is lovely to see Autumn spring and summer
What I love about my Giclee prints, they look like my original painting because of being printed on Watercolour paper, also a good price. My Original painting gracing a wall in a home.

Big up the Isle of Wight crew!
I mean hello. Nice to meet you. I live in Newport…

(Trevor Harvey) #14

Sue, that’s a cracking picture, love that! Giclee printing brings a whole new dimension to prints doesn’t it,.

(Trevor Harvey) #15

Ah I wish I lived on the Isle of Wight, sadly just a visitor every few years… Now, if I hadn’t met my dear lady when I did, I was on the verge of moving over there…

Good morning, just been delving about in the archives and came across this picture of mine which I’m rather fond of, so I thought I’d make it my listing for today:
