So sorry I have been quiet over the weekend, been catching up on some sleep following a very tiring week and keeping an eye on my daughter, who thankfully is on the mend, thank you all for your concern! Still not sure what caused her problem, but pleased to see she is more like herself, although still a way to go!
Well done all of you who’ve had sales this weekend! Happy dancing for you all!
So sorry to hear about the death of your cat, she sounds and looked as thought she was a wonderful family member! I hope your other cat won’t pine too much! I know when we lost one of our cats, her brother did fret and his character changed, he became quite subdued!
I hope to get some photos done this week, I had some leave left to take, so was am not in work this week!
In the meantime, I have two relists for you for yesterday and today!
Firstly a triple crocheted rose hair accessory!
And a knitted and fully lined fluffy shoulder stole, perfect for bridesmaid or winter ball!
Morning Optimists, one for the tally please natalie @NOfkantsCurios, sold a shopping list book last night :).
I took a few days away from the PC for a serious crafty weekend and had a lovely rest from the screens. I went back to some of my earlier jewellery designs and made some Dragonflies, I always make a stock of brooches with these which are popular at fairs, but thought I’d try some as necklaces, here’s the first
Fed up…so tired but can’t sleep, been awake since 4am. My arm is playing up and I have a full day at work ahead of me.
Moan over, on the plus side I had a lovely weekend with my daughter home from uni, like yours Liz, @lizdyson, a changed girl, very happy and full of confidence. Sad to see her go back though.
Love your dragonfly Maxine, @paperchainsandbeads
I haven’t got much to list at the moment - will have to get creative again this week! Just another diary for now.
First day back at work for hubs after having a week off, not that we done much as we both had colds but at least he wasn’t having to go to work while ill. I actually got up with him at 5.15 this morning which I haven’t done for weeks so I’ve already got the housework done , just dinner to do later.
I have a possible custom order from a lady in USA but I need to play about with a crochet hook and some yarn first to see if I can accommodate her.
Colleen @MidnightStarDesigns - meant to say before that sales seem slow generally - I don’t think the changes with the FP has done us any favours, and I was feeling a bit despondent too. However when I looked at my sales for last year they’re not that different, but they really soared in November. So hang on in there & keep listing & promoting & hopefully there are better weeks ahead.
2 More sales for me pleaseNatalie @NOfkantsCurios - my Buy 1 get one half price offer seemed to work
Thanks @BeadstormJewellery Sue, I am definitely down on October sales from last year so am hoping that the next couple of months pick up otherwise I will be having a rethink in the New Year, just wish I had held off renewing the Plus account, would break my heart if I had to give it all up but I cant keep ploughing money into nothing! Love the earrings by the way
So glad everyone had a nice weekend with their children home from Uni, glad they are all settling in well too x
All pinned and tweeted - didn’t take long - not many of us here.My Plus account is due in November - very undecided what to do - hoping for a bit better viewing figures in November but will see how the month develops. Jacqueline @JAustenJewelleryDesign so sorry to hear you are feeling unwell again and do hope you are feeling better today. Roz @Rozcraftz - hope your arm improves soon and pleased to hear you and Liz @lizdyson both had good weekends with your daughters. Will be back later - Maureen
Busy morning in the garden, it is so lovely and warm outside, so cut perennials down, mowed lawn, and swept up leaves. Then off to shop to get more crafting supplies:-))
Here is mine for today - a perfect match to the packs of white poinsettia Christmas cards.
