Options on listings

I may be blind, or just not worked it out, so I am asking!

Is there a way you can offer options on your listings with different prices?

For instance I sell the same bracelet in silver plated, sterling and fine silver.
So at the moment I have 3 listings for the different silver grades, but on my website and other selling sites I use, I can list them under one listing and have options for the customer to choose at the checkout.

If Folksy haven’t got this yet, I am sure there are loads of us that would benefit from this feature, as its a bit of a faff to list/ describe the same thing 3 times (with a slight variation) when it could be done once!

Apparently they are working on it. You are not the first shop holder to mention this, I promise you!

Sadly the lack of listing variations is making me wonder whether to stay on here. I offer 3 sizes in all of my prints so thats 36 separate listings for 12 prints. Very frustrating especially as I just updated my images and had to do every one of them. :open_mouth:

This has been work in progress for I would say 5 years or so. It has 463 votes on the voting programme.

If you look here it has been discussed forever and was being looked at again over a year ago.

It such a shame as I really like this site and the community but it takes me a lot less time to list on the other side. :anguished:

I don’t find listing variations on the other side that easy- you may have six different colours but only one of each, and you have to say how many are available. So you put 6 in case someone wants to buy a couple of different colours.
Then they end up ordering three yellows, which you don’t have!

I’ve just ended up listing each colour separately, but including a group shot as well so that others can be seen. Its only because I’ve gone plus though, so its not costing me. I’d like to have a proper way to offer chain lengths or earring types, other than to say ‘write it in the buyer comments box’

I usually make my Harris tweed cushions in standard sizes, such as 35cm/ 14", 40cm/16", 45cm/18" , but as the fabric is so expensive I want to charge a different price for the different sizes.

On the other site this is really easy, and the customer just selects from a dropdown box. Here I still have to do a separate listing for each size ( without copying and pasting the text - yeah, right! ) so my shop has what looks like duplicates, or only offer one size.

Folksy have been promising this for years; I wish it would get to the top of the list soon.

I would really like variations on folksy. I make my silver in 3 different grades of silver, at the moment I have to list them individually which looks a mess and is confusing, I also think it’s putting people off buying as I haven’t had a sale on folksy for ages, where as my other online outlets have daily sales, and they all have the option to put in variations with different prices.

Come on folksy, keep up with the times and what us sellers need!!
If things don’t improve soon, I might have to go elsewhere, as I’m not getting a return on my pro membership anymore.
