PayPal Issues

Now been on the site 3 months and still having problems with PayPal. 3 items struggled to sell because of the payment issue. This is the message they get.

Your payment failed to process
We’re sorry, but your payment failed to process.

The reason given for the failure was:

The Buyer cannot pay with PayPal for this Transaction.

Please try again, maybe with different credentials, to complete your Folksy order.

PayPal looks set up correctly, really not happy with this.

Please list something, a dummy nothingness, for 10p and £0 postage and I will attempt to buy it from you using my perfectly working Paypal… I am quite happy to donate 10p in the interests of getting you up and running.

Have put a listing on there for 20p u can’t put less than that.

@folksycontent Can you assist here please. I know my Paypal is 100% ok and got through to the final stage of purchasing Richard’s Test payment product but as you can see from my screen prints it failed at the last minute. @Richard92


Richard maybe you could send a note to Folksy support and give them a link to this forum topic so they have the screen prints

Hopefully they can suggest what might be the problem… failing that Paypal are Really helpful… I think I contacted them via online chat last time I needed to and they sorted for me. You maybe have something in your account which needs ticking or verifying of something if you’ve not received a payment yet.

Thanks I will do that. I sold the pen he just paid me on the same PayPal site but I had to it manually.

Ps I got a message from PayPal checking my transaction was valid ( because of the small amount). It looks as if Paypal was happy to accept the payment.

PPS had another thought. Can you check in your Shop Settings from your dashboard that you have used your correct Paypal email address… this is separate from the email you use on Folksy and in my case it totally different. If the address you have on there is not the address you have registered with Paypal that would I’m sure give this problem.

Thank you for your help on this. Not sure if PayPal have done something but it seems to be working fine. Got the wife to try and purchase the tester and it worked fine.

Oh that’s good… maybe Paypal needed a kick. Mine has been playing up last couple of weeks but not in that way. About every 4 days it decides my password is incorrect and I know it isn’t and by the time I’ve tried it about 3 times it tells me I have run out of tries and I have to change it. My latest password is quite rude :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
