Picture removal help needed please!

Hi everybody. I’m still in the process of setting up my shop ( still taking pictures of my products, so early days). So, I’ve put on some profile/banner pictures just to see if things are working really. They are very much temporary! However, when I go to “view my shop” and scroll down, I can see a dreadful picture of some pendants. They are really out of focus, and, worse still, you can see the controls of my tumble dryer and even my feet!!! How on earth do I get rid of this pic? It isn’t my banner or profile pic but something else. ( I’m confused as to what and where it actually is). I can’t see any mention of it when I go to “change shop appearance”, but when I go to “view my shop” - there it is, for all to see!!! It’s gotta go - please help! Xx

Hi Deborah, I have no idea what it is you are seeing, but don’t panic because it doesn’t appear to be visible to anyone else, I think that’s because your shop is in holiday mode.

Hi Deborah,
The picture appears in the “about” section of your shop - go to your dashboard and look down the left side, under the heading ‘shop settings’ until you find ‘about’ .
If you click on ‘about’ you should be able to edit that section.

Thanks for that. I’ve managed to get rid of it now. I just need to stop tinkering around and get on with the job properly! Back to taking some decent photos now. Thanks again. Debbie L. X

Yay! I’ve got rid of it, so thank you so much! I need to stop rushing at things like a bull in a china shop and putting my cart before my horse! I’m off to carry on taking some proper photos now and then do all my listings. I wish I could wave a magic wand and it could be just done. Then I could get on with the non technical bits and just make more nice things! Ah well, onwards and upwards. Thanks again for your help. Debbie L xx
