After Pinterest made me change earlier this year from having both personal and business pages to just one Business page, the boards I’d made vanished. I’ve created a new board to put my Folksy makes on, and I’m trying to pin using the Save buttons from my shop (because that saves me a lot of retyping)
If I look at my shopfront and hover over an image, I see the red button and click it. A pin is created, with all the information pointing to Folksy - except it’s picked up a random item description from one of my other items, seemingly the same one whatever item I actually want. And I then can’t edit it.
If instead I go to the item page and hover over the image, I see the same red button and click it. A pin is created, with all the information pointing to Folksy - except this time it’s using the correct description, but only part of the first paragraph, cropping and adding ‘more..” then repeating the start of the paragraph again. And I can’t edit it.
Is it just me that finds a) the buttons working differently in different places; and b) the descriptions being all wonky?
I can’t use pinterest like I use to, if I click on the icon and go to choose a photo it just brings up an image of visa ! Nothing else, no makes, no bears just a visa and Mastercard image. If I go to share to pinterest by clicking on the item image it doesn’t upload any info, I do less and less on it as it doesn’t seem to do anything I want it to now. Nothing changed in my pinterest account, i only have the one but mine went to pot earlier this year with everything else. I use to be able to share easily with all the description, prices etc then it all stopped working.
Hi Helen. I had the same problem a few months ago. My i.t skills are extremely limited! It took my husband days to sort it out. Suddenly, he managed to restore my business account boards to my personal account. He has no idea what he did, but it nearly gave him an i.t breakdown!!!
