I’m looking for a supplier of sturdy strong PiP boxes. I’ve ordered from several places but it’s such punk cardboard it’s almost as soft as paper. Does anyone use them and do you have recommendations for a decent make or supplier of strong decent quality.

They are really hit and miss on Ebay and overpriced.
I’ve been getting mine from Amazon. I do prefer not to give them money if I can avoid it but the only place I could find the size I wanted. They are from a UK seller though - Boxes2go. Been using them for a while & they are pretty sturdy, never had any problems with things getting squished!

I’ve been getting mine from Trimming who sell on all the big sites and direct from their website. I get the C5 size and they seem sturdy. The C4 ones are ok…

There are lots and lots of sellers on eBay. You can’t just lump them all together and discount the whole shopping site because you found one bad supply surely.

Box prices really do depend on how many you are ordering, even on eBay. I’ve found that the price reduces fairly significantly if I get 50. A lot of the cost is the ‘free’ delivery.

I bought some really good quality PiP boxes from Transpack. Nice and sturdy and easy to put together. Would certainly recommend them.

I can’t add anything to this thread but I just wanted to say how useful these suggestions have been and I’ve bookmarked a couple of the sites for future reference. I’m glad I stopped by.

I’ve tried several on Ebay and they’ve been cheap and nasty and very flimsy. So, I’m afraid that does colour my faith and I’d rather go by recommendation now.

That’s quite fair enough, you hadn’t mentioned you had tried several. I’ve had some perfectly good ones but it does depend on price paid I find.
