Post a pic and the name of your pet

Well tanned anyway, that was taken somewhere on the south coast of France near Frejus.

I’ve always thought they look really cute, but thought they can be a handful as your Boo is :feet:

Frejus,know it very well.

When I was a student I spent the summer there along with a girlfriend.
We slept on the beach and sold ice-creams during the day, arh…those where the days my friends, we thought they’d never end…

It really depends on how much they’re handled when young. If well socialised they’re very much like a good tempered dog or cat. It’s most unfortunate that you only ever see them on telly hanging off some poor presenters finger!! I can only assume that the poor things were scared by the strange enviroment, or the producers had evil senses of humour and told the ferret handler to bring a stroppy one! Boo wasn’t handled enough when she was young (before we got her) and then when she and her sister got spade her sis. died. Her sis. was very docile, and without her Boo’s behaviour just got worse :frowning:

She only nips, which is just a little scratch, she doesn’t hang on. And she never nips my fingers, where her tiny jaws might actually cause me some harm, she nips my hands or wrists and she can’t get her jaws wide enough to exert any force even if she wanted to! I wear gloves now when I handle her, because she seems to prefer it. She never tries to nip a gloved hand - maybe she knows there’s no point!

People are often a little nervous about stroking them, but the other four ferrets are the perfect ambassadors, sweet and gentle and very, very curious. They will climb up your trousers though, if I let them!

Hope I’m doing this right lol, pooch called Scruffy, we rescued him 2 years ago and he was so dirty, hence the name. He loves to nosey through windows and loves cuddles, oh and that’s my other half, I rescued him too
