Our previous neighbour had a schnauzer, he was an ex-show champion and a real gent.
They are in the next 5 on Gary’s long to do list.
Gorgeous! I’m thinking of getting a rescue greyhound when my rabbit pops it. Are they very playful?
Greyhounds normally love nothing better than to lie by the fire and be a lovely companion dog, who doesn’t need miles of exercise - I’m sure they have their playful side too
Lovely dog and love the sandy photo
Those of us who have been allowed on here for the last week to ‘play’ are very pleased that more are now joining - which will make the forum an even more exciting place to be. And even less crafting will be done for a while I suspect
I agree Joy, it will get much more lively the more people start posting and joining in. An exciting future ahead I think, even though it will doubtless eat up time that I should be spending doing other things!
This is Elsa, she was a stray who kept trying to follow me home from my old work place. Eventually after a bit of detective work, I contacted her owner who said I could have her. If you’ve ever read the book “Six dinner Sid” that was her. She’s been with me for 13 years, I’m not sure how old she is but she’s adorable.
Oh I love Elsa, she looks just like my old cat Donna, she was just like that! Had her from kittenhood till her death at only 11, a scary 30 years ago!
Aww she’s gorgeous Lynn, love the socks she looks ready for dancing, and with those long legs it would have to be ballet

He was sudded and washed within 5 minutes of getting him home Margaret, and boy does he love the hairdrier
Beautiful, she looks quite happy sunbathing, looks like she enjoys the sand too
Are you allergic to all dogs Suzanne, Know it sounds weird but some have found that the ones with hair that grows like humans (ones that don’t shed/malt ) are not as much a problem.
We used to have cats, called them bubble and squeek, funny pair they were too lol
They are so cute Di x
This is my cat Muffin, who is busy having a nap! (Being so cute is very tiring you know!) Martine xenter preformatted text here
Greyhounds make wonderful pets, Katie is our fourth, she is the most unruly and boisterous greyhound I’ve ever come across but she is gorgeous. Mostly greys are lazy couch potatoes who sleep for 23hrs a day, take their meals and love a couple of 15 to 20 minute walks a day.

I’m just wowwed by the way your lovely cat is sleeping on the ceiling
This is Rupert doing what he does best … lazing around. I’ve been away for a while and haven’t seen this little fuzzball for nearly three months. I really miss him!
Black cats are fabulous - we had a little rescue black cat called Betty. We always said she was the sweetest cat that ever lived, her temprament was lovely, (probably becuae she was always so grateful at being rescued)
When I was a teenager we had a calico cat called Daisy, the teenage angst I whispered in her ear, she was a great friend and listener
on the left - Nuts (official vet name Peanut) - hyperactive, a touch highly strung, and a bit nuts. Very talkative too.
on the right her sister - Tricky (official vet name Treacle) - a polydactyl cat meaning she’s got extra toes on her paws (2 on each front, one of each of the back), they call these cats Mitten Kittens, you can see why from the pic, it looks like she’s got mittens on. When she walks it’s like she’s wearing snow shoes. Her name comes from that rather than her follow us to where we put her food down, we have to follow her to where she fancies eating it that day.

This is Brax, he’s 2 1/2 and likes to go through the bin in my craft room and scatter paper scraps around…maybe a sort of dog type craft?! Jx
