My first attempt with Canva will try and improve with my next post. I couldnt undo the files id found for a 4folksyfinds so will have another go later.
I think the animated graphic is off putting I thought it would draw attention to the post, but instead I want to scroll on by. Iāve alot to learn about SM
Ive done my Folksy5aday x
I liked it Christine, itās quite subtle and doesnāt distract from your prints. I found the animation caught my eye enough to make me pause on that post.
Thanks Emma that was my intention but it made me a bit dizzy. I avoid reels as some are just to fast and then you end up down a rabbit hole of stuff. I want something subtle. I need to play about with canva again tonight.
I agree with Emma @TheHawthornHeart I like your subtle animation. The reels I donāt like are the ones that the text thatās been added whizzes by so fast you canāt read it, I just scroll on with those, same with stories, if people want me to read stuff I need it slower, Iām quite a fast reader but some of them I canāt get past the first half a dozen words.
Weāve made some templates to make adding the Folksy logo to your images easier - https://www.canva.com/design/DAFil9ZSuc0/X86LLjn95uHqWv6ZEJkm4Q/view?utm_content=DAFil9ZSuc0&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink&mode=preview
As itās on Canva, you can also use avif files so there are no extra steps needed if youāre saving images straight from Folksy.
If you find Canva a bit daunting and arenāt sure what to do with it, Iāve added step by step instructions (from desktop) on this post - https://talk.folksy.com/t/what-could-we-all-do-to-get-folksy-better-known/26119/291
Thank you so much for doing the templates @kimfolksy. I just went straight there with your link and this was so quick and easy!
Aah @folksycontent did all the good work putting the templates together and giving lots of options to choose from, but weāre glad we could help.
I know for people confident in photo editing and with the right program/app it might be a quick job to add the logo on themselves, but we know we have people of varying technical abilities here and when youāre not used to it, it can feel rather overwhelming. As everyoneās shown such interest in the idea of using the logo, weāre glad we can help make it simple for everyone to use.
I think Iāve done it although I managed to download all of the templates on Canva three times to my photos app and had to through deleting all of them except the one I wanted #typical

Great photo Bekki x
Thanks now I just need to work out how to download just one photo at a time
@bekokodesigns you can select which page you want - but Iām good at forgetting and quite often download everything
Thanks Iāll have a look for that
Yes check for a tick box! It automatically has āall pagesā selected when you go to save, so you need to untick that and then tick the specific page.
