I’m the same as you Anna and didn’t learn computer speak at school, but in my 30 plus years going out to work career, I learned a lot and was super comfortable with IT and used it extensively. It’s only really in the last 10 years since I’ve been working in isolation (not in a sad way! 
) that I really haven’t managed to keep up with how things have moved on and learn how to move on with them. It’s really surprising how quickly you can fall out of step and feel a bit helpless to help yourself. At least it’s made me more empathetic to those who don’t get along with IT
