I find your post very sad. Do you want to add this to the Search topic to show just what effect the lack of care and support Folksy sellers are currently getting from their supplier is having on its customers ?
I can totally understand how you’re feeling, I think we all can, especially with all that’s going on here at the moment, its very, very disheartening, after all the hard work and time we put into our shops.
Sending you hugs. I’ve just bought your beautiful hello card, I’ll surprise my mum with it in the post one day. No rush to post it.
Take care of yourself and I hope you have a lovely and restful Easter xxx
You’re so very welcome!!! Actually, its so beautiful that I’m going to put it in a frame and hang it on the wall in my hall near the front door, so it welcomes people as they come in! (sorry mum!)
I started uploading on the other “e” platform and got one sale and then a payment hold put on my funds because I got 1 x sale in 3 x years , I’m completely baffled with this.
Also that other place has a lot of ai stuff which I’m shocked
Hi Marlou, I have just ordered the rest of the stickers plus some extra bits. Sad to see you are leaving, thank you again for your help with the stickers and all the best for you in the future xx
Thank you so much , @Bearlescent , you are so kind. The “e” platform not any better sadly . They have put a restriction thing on my funds , because I got my 1st sale after not being active there for 3 x years. I’m completely baffled
I’m just a crafter trying to keep myself mentally motivated, doing what I love, anything I sell just goes straight into buying supplies as I can’t go out to work due to a neurological condition I suffer with .
It is so sad, I understand how you feel and just wish Folksy had worked for you, I hope you can continue making for yourself, family and friends.
I have always enjoyed Folksy but the past couple of weeks have left me questioning what I want to do going forward and I understand completely as I’m in the same position with ill health, sometimes added stress just isn’t worth it but It’s such a shame when you clearly love what you do and have worked so hard to make it work.
I have no idea how the other site works, it sounds as though they make the rules up to suit themselves but I can understand your frustration with them all which has now lead you to this position. Sending love, take care x
I took my E** shop out of holiday mode a couple of years ago. Made a good sale. Got lovely email from the customer then a 5**** review. Next day… email from E***… account in reserve for 3 months… Shop has been on holiday ever since.
This is ridiculous, I have heard it many times over the past year or so. I closed my E shop but was very loud about it when I did so would never go back and things are much worse now than when i left.
That’s terrible what they did to you Joy . I have seen a lot of shops over there on vacation. @JOYSofGLASS
Lots of people moving to another platform “K”
Won’t say name incase we are not allowed
I’m trying “K” probably will have no success there either.
I have no idea how shops over there are making money, it’s mind boggling.
Plus here on Folksy I’m in Northern Ireland, born here lived here all my life and when I tried to add post to my listings for Northern Ireland, it just kept telling me automatically that “I don’t ship to Northern Ireland” the world has gone bonkers
But why the option to ship internationally? I’m feeling like I’m on another planet
I’ve taken E*** off my latest print of business cards. Let’s hope I don’t need to remove Folksy as I have 1000.
I leave my shop of E**. there though just out of spite to take up a teeny weeny space on their servers .. and if course it just might trigger someone to Google me and I am exceedingly googleable to my live shops .
