Theres a new open air Sunday Market for arts and crafts started at the top of shopping area. I emailed to ask about it and they are offering pitches for £10. I think some weeks they have live music and I imagine if timed with other events in the town and tourist season it might hopefully take off.
Thanks for posting Kusuma @KusumaDesigns I’ll bear that in mind, I’m not a million miles away and do travel to Malvern regularly for the Malvern Flea & Collector’s Fair at the Three Counties showground (I fit there because I show things that have been made with the sort of items you can get there) - in fact, I’ll be there on Sunday - under cover in the Wye Hall
I have yet to visit that fair. I only moved to Malvern last December. There’s another Craft market on a Saturday near the church as well. So much going on in the area.
If you pop into Malvern Station, Lady Foley’s Tearooms you may meet my daughter’s m-i-l Margaret who owns it. I sold my first few pieces of glass in there and there is probably one of my pieces hanging up somewhere
The Old Station has been done up and looks very pretty. I’ve only walked past once on one of my dog walks. Will have to pop and have a look. We have been renovating our house since we moved so that has taken up much of the year and not a lot of craft work going on! We’ve built a little studio in the garden that’s nearly finished with a view of the hills too!
Thanks for the heads up Kusuma @KusumaDesigns (and Mick @SteampunkCreativeEngineering) - we’re often Malvern way as very close friends live there and we’re up the road in Leominster, we’ll definitely look in to this. I know the Malvern Flea Market and Collectors Fair can be good for antique/vintage themed items.
There’s an artisan craft market on Saturdays too but there seems to be a long waiting list for that.
