Retrieving an Expired item listing

With the new ALL search we can now search through all our listings. This has them all lumped together current, out of stock and expired. And as we have commented there is no distinction in the All fucnction between the three status.
I had an owl which I last sold in 2020 so obviously expired but how to get at it to reuse the listing ??.

  1. I searched ALL until i found it and edited it to change qty to 99 (I Never had 99 of anything so easy to spot).
  2. I went to my Expired listings and sorted to Qty order… My Owl appeared at the top
  3. Copied the Owl listing which has left it waiting in Draft for me to easily find and finish as a new listing later.

Would I be right in thinking that you would then need to reduce the quantity of the expired owl back down to 1 (or 0) or other wise next time you did the sort step your owl will be at the top?

Well yes, sorry missed mentioning that bit but this process did find my owl and make the listing available a Lot more quickly than without the All search. I wasnt even sure it would be there as I sold it privately ,

Ps annoying I sell B… owl …s as it found those too :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Well I never knew I could sort listings by the top headings - like expired :upside_down_face:. Thanks for that Joy :grinning:

would a non plus seller get charged for 99 items therefore non applicable as a solution to the non plus sellers? of course you can see the charge before you press the button to update, but there might be a few fast fingers around! :upside_down_face:

You’ve always been able to do that but, in the past to find the one I want I have sorted into listed date order (having had to first work out, according to the date I sold it (which I record against every single thing I sell ) when that might have been !)
and then trundled through to the page covering that date… which can be tedious.
On a laptop you can speed that up by going to page 2 after you’ve sorted and then change the number 2 in the page url to get you along a bit faster… say to page 19 (as can only go a few pages at a time using the next, prev arrows ).

So if you select page 2 you get a url of :
+

https://folksy.com/items?page=2&view=expired:

but you can overwrite that 2 with any other number, in the case above i change it to +

https://folksy.com/items?page=**19**&view=expired

and it miraculously jump 17 pages forward instead of the limited number the scroll function allows.

PS I have been here a long time so have a lot of expired listings and live is too short to spend all my time scrolling  when there is a quicker way
