I’m trying to set up my Folksy rss data feed to populate my Facebook page, but I have 2 issues that I need to resolve before the upload will work.
1. Column Issues
There are 5 errors relating to missing inventory information (1st screenshot);
Id
image_link
price
availability
condition
but the only 4 options on offer via the drop down menu list (2nd screenshot) subtracted from my rss data feed bear zero resemblance to what is needed;
author
pubdate
guid
http ://search.yahoo.com/mrss/:group (I have added a space to stop this being a link)
2. Unrecognisable Columns
The 4 options listed in the drop down menu mentioned above are also listed as unrecognisable by Facebook (3rd screenshot).
Does this mean that my rss data feed is faulty or have I done something wrong somewhere along the way?
I have tried to search for a resolution before coming here, but haven’t found any solutions other than editing my rss data, which I am extremely reluctant to even attempt.
If anyone at @FolksyStaff or any other sellers have any ideas I’d appreciate a bit of hand holding please.
Thanks

Hi Debbie, does your rss link end in .rss rather than /rss? Your link should be https://folksy.com/shops/theplayfulcat.rss
Hi @clarefolksy thanks for that help. I changed the end from /rss to .rss and managed to get most of my catalogue uploaded, but now I have other issues from Fb.
Honestly, I give up. Facebook are horrific.
I will just do my marketing on Instagram and do links directly back to Folksy.
I had issues with the rss feed too and ended up deleting and now I add everything manually. It is very time consuming but it works. Facebook is a pain since all the updates I hate all of it! I only keep it to link my folksy and Instagram.
It is ridiculous - I uploaded keyrings and had 3 of them flagged for violating their policy. What on earth could anyone object to about a keyring.
I guess I might do the same as you and do it manually, if I can be bothered.
Is there no option to sell through Instagram without the interface of Facebook?
@ThePlayfulCat I had some yarn flagged and they said adult content and sex objects were not allowed:grin:
it was called KLASS so I guess the bots didn’t see the KL at the beginning:grin:

haha that’s hilarious.
I did wonder if one had been blocked because it had ‘black’ in the name and description
But couldn’t figure out why a red, orange & yellow theme was blocked, but your post has now made me wonder if it’s because I have named it my ‘Fireball’ set.
