Scam Warning - Royal Mail Click & Drop

A warning to everyone to be on alert for a scam email pretending to be Royal Mail Click & Drop.

One of the ecommerce sites I own received an email from this email address at 12:56am: royalmail@e.royalmail.com

This is their message:

Hello! Thanks for choosing to send with us. To help you get the most out of Click & Drop, we have compiled some useful links below. Beginning with the basics, these links cover how to book a collection, help with customs and sending items abroad and how to access your labels.

This is followed by a lot of links.

e.royalmail.com does not exist.

Do not click on anything in this scam email. If you get the email, report it by forwarding it to reportascam@royalmail.com and then delete it from your inbox.

It’s by far the most convincing scam email I’ve seen, despite the fact it arrived in the middle of the night which is always a red flag.

Thank you for the info.

I got this last night and just realised it’s a scam. A very convincing looking one too! It’s from royalmail@e.royalmail.com. I thought it was a bit weird last night as I’ve been sending with click & drop for a while already with my personal email address, and my work one. This came to the work one.
