More Scam Emails To Be Aware Of

Got these scam emails in the early hours of this morning, pretending to be from Royal Mail and UPS. The scammers are going big trying it with postal services on both sides of the pond.

Clearly I am not Hannah Patel nor Bianca Alvarez… and even if I was I certainly wouldn’t fall for this rubbish.

I’m posting snips of the emails here so that you can be aware that these scams are increasing now that we are in the silly season.

What is most concerning is that the scammers have my email address and the emails were in my primary inbox, they were not detected by spam filters.

If you receive these emails DO NOT click on any links and DO NOT click the link to report as spam as that could cause an automatic notification back to the spammers that will confirm your email address is legitimate. Just delete straight away.

It’s relentless isn’t it, I am totally fed up with receiving messages on fb messenger asking how much this or that item is, I tell them the price and also that i sell through Folksy and give them the link. I usually know almost straight away they are not really looking to buy as their messages are not like those from people actually interested. I go along with it for 2 or 3 messages then tell them…if you are looking to scam me don’t bother. I had one man 2 nights ago who would not let go, he sent me an address in LA to send a bear, asked how much, do you post to LA etc etc…i told him 3 times to go to my shop and look at the details in there, at 2.45 a.m i told him not to message anymore and deleted him from messenger. I have had 4 in the last week all on fb, I am seriously considering leaving fb and just using IG
