Shipping “rest of the world”

I was just on fb on Etsy group. Someone mentioned they had a customer who even tho turned off shipping to eu countries still managed to get an order from rest of the world to Spain. My question is, we aren’t able to choose our countries under this catergory on here. So is this something that would also happen on Folksy. I was thinking of shipping to selective countries but there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this.

Shipping

We’re updating our shipping regions:

  • Europe will become EU and Northern Ireland – [done]
  • UK will exclude Northern Ireland – [done]
  • UK will include Crown Dependencies (Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man) – will be completed before 13/12/24
  • Rest of the World will exclude EU and Northern Ireland – [done]
  • Rest of the World will also exclude the US – [done]
  • Rest of the World will include non-EU countries and everywhere else, including Canada, Australia, India etc – [done]
  • If you want to ship to the EU, Northern Ireland or the US, you’ll need to specify those regions – [done]

Yes I know. But, Inc Canada. PLI would be affected. I was hoping to post to just selected countries. Like Australia, New Zealand, non eu countries, but obviously won’t be able to do this. Don’t want to send all over the world.
