Shop Banners, how often do you change yours?

Thank you so much for that - looks like I will finally have to subscribe to Canva Pro - I’ve used it for free for many projects over the years - but looks like I need to move up a step. Thank you.

I think in canva when you create a new blank template there’s an option to choose your size. Think it might just be re-sizing one that needs Canva Pro. Although I did try out the free trial and it was quite good, but I couldn’t justify keeping it at the moment once my banners were done

Hi @ccbandatp
I’ve just opened Canva as I couldn’t remember! I use the free desktop version, & on the home page there is an option towards the top right that says ‘custom size’. Click that, & just enter the width as 978 & height as 200
It’s here on my homepage (hopefully yours looks the same!)

Thank you Stacey - I’m not sure I can warrant taking on Canva Pro - all the projects I have created so far have been perfectly done on the free version.

Hi Dee - thank you so much - that’s the bit I have been looking for. My home screen is different - at top right is “Create A Design” which I had never previously clicked on. Among other options is “custom size” which has allowed me to set the banner size to what Folksy uses. Thank you

Thanks to whoever raised this topic. Not changed my banner for at least two years. I used to add a Xmas, Easter greeting but haven’t done that for ages…
So I have just made and loaded a completely new banner. Think it looks a lot better… I had thought my old one was looking a bit outdated.

No worries, and I know what you mean about Pro and justifying the cost, I don’t use it enough at the moment to justify it, want to try focus on my products first, still working on tags, photos etc. to try get my first Folksy sales!

We’ve been on Folksy for a while but I’ve always found the free version of Canva sufficient for what we need. Good luck with your shop - hope you start to include your jewellery soon too.
