What have you got all ready to make up? I have a pile of fabric all cut out ready for the onslaught of sewing the next few days. 4 tote bags, 4 clutch frame bags, 5 lavender sachets, 2 make up bags and 2 skirts. Think that will keep me busy for a while.
I have been working on a doll for the past few days and nights lol…she is now sewn up and her face has been painted, she has pants and a vest, skirt is half done, cardigan part way knitted but she doesn’t have hair yet…this pic was taken a couple of days ago …will be another 2 days at least…I’m thinking perhaps I should make some quicker items!
The chunky wool is hand dyed and hand spun but not by me, this will be her hair, the fine 3 ply’s of wool I am knitting together for her cardy…forgot to take the pic of the doll ha ha
Pewter pieces for a frame and two boxes, waiting to be patinated, polished and mounted. I love doing it up to this stage, but the finishing is rather a chore .Then again, I love it when they’re finished and have turned out well! Then the photographing, which is still pretty hit and miss for me
I have finally finished my single bed sized Sailboat Quilt, and the designer Glenna Hailey has kindly given me permission to sell my version. The profits from the sale will go to Project Linus. I have now to write a description and list it, which will probably be tomorrow.
Update: I have now listed this quilt.
Currently working on a commission for a pearl wedding anniversary. It may have those vintage mop leaves around the edge. See what the client thinks IMG_20190705_221813|225x400
heres one of the many bags I’ll be working on in the next few days. This one will be a drawstring, but I have 3 tote bags, 4 large make up bags, 5 small make up bags and 5 sets of nesting baskets to finish. So I’m going to be very busy
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend!
Hi
Haven’t posted in this thread before, normally forget to take any WIP photo’s.
However today I have been sitting outside in the sunshine making Gingerbread Men!!!
So the image is of the messy box of bits I had outside, with two not quite finished little gingers!
