Your pansy are very beautiful Julie! …I started a reference folder a few years ago for all my designs, it’s now morphed into several folders with photo’s. line drawing’s, tracing and copious amounts of notes of colour mixes, layer order, etc…it really does help, especially as i have so many characters & a few different styles… i’d be lost without my folders.
Thanks @cheekymonkeystudio your designs are lovely too! That is exactly what I hope to do with my folder, I am forever forgetting what colours I mixed or combos I used!!! And it also feeds my other addiction, stationery!!! I got to buy a new folder which was great and can use all my glittery pens to make notes, I have a dedicated pencil case with stationery for my new folder!!! Oh dear!!!

Barn Owls. My own design, following the same round style I have used for a few birds now. I call these simply “Roundies” The eyes need to be painted & fired, then the glass will be foiled & soldered, followed by a few finishing touches … 10% of the sale price of these will be donated to the Barn Owl Trust

…I seem to collect pencils with all sorts of toppers to pop in my giant pencil sharper shaped pen pot & don’t get me started on notepads…i have bundles of them, love them!

Poly clay blanks forming the basic form of some more of my animals. Working on a cat after inspiration from my wife. More cats and tigers for totems/chinese zodiac figures and a monkey zodiac (a bit late since the year of the monkey is already started!).
Working through variations of the same in order to get the best sculpt for casting.

Yep,I would like to subscribe to this but first should point out that I have no crafty secrets,I find myself surrounded by the top guns of art,craft and design on Folksy,the best of the best so anything I passed on would only get used for them to further their own designs they would not compete with me,they are allies that bring much needed traffic our way.
If my plans for immortallity are flawed I may be planted or nuked at some point,all that I know would go the same way so what better way for my work to live on than to pass on what I know ?
Meantime here is a sterling silver hawkmoth ring underway,I may remove a little metal to lighten the shank,then a good clean up and off to assay.I have cut a pair of 2mm cabs for the eyes in malachite and will probably cut the wigs from the same.
I shall see if a butterfly ring will upload also,the stones need setting properly as yet but it conveys the general idea.

Thanks Julie,I would like to think I will finish them but I suffer from what I call Van Gogh syndrome,I think he would have been halfway through one canvas when his mind switched to the next and to some extent I am like that,want to do it all and do it now and end up doing nothing.
