Just out of curiosity - how is it possible to leave a review without a write up? Whenever I leave a review for a shop there is a box which seems to insist that you write a minimum amount of words if you want to leave a review but I have one in my shop with 5 stars but no written review. Just wondered how this is done?

Yes, I have a review also that is just the 5 stars with nothing written, the text must be optional. Maybe as a guest it is possible to do it this way?

At least you are getting reviews ladies, Iāve sold quite a few items over the last couple of weeks and no one so far has bothered to leave a review, which now leaves me wondering if they just hated their purchase so much theyād rather not appear rude. Iād be quite happy to get just the stars, although itās always lovely when people go to the trouble to say a few words too.

I have just left a 5 star review with no text whilst signed in - the text box is optional. I just selected the number of stars and hit enter.
(No idea if you have to put text if its a less than 5 star review and Iām not about to test that either as everyone Iāve bought from deserves 5 stars)

I really donāt think itās the case that your customers arenāt happy. The majority of people donāt leave reviews, and for a number of reasons - forgetful, busy, lazyš I just go with āno news is good newsā when they donāt leave a review!

@PaintedHorseArt there are a lot of people who donāt leave reviews and they may do it a week or two after taking delivery of your lovely work. I have probably only received 1 review out of every 4 sales, a lot of my customers email instead, possibly because I always email them when the order comes through so they probably only think to do it that way. I have return customers who have bought in excess of 15 bears but have only ever left one review as they tend to contact me on IG to say thank you or post it on their own IG feed. Your work is lovely I hope some of your recent customers pop back to leave those stars. X

Thank you, your shop is lovely too. I am actually quite happy with my reviews, I just wondered how it was possible to leave stars but no comment.

Sorry, I had tagged Lynne , Painted Horse in my comment I didnāt mean it for you, Lynn said she thought perhaps they didnt like her work. I do love your shop though, especially the dolls and those needle felted animals

donāt be disillusioned - I have made over 750 sales and only about 30 have bothered to leave a reviewā¦ I know they are happy with their purchases as many of them are repeat customers! When you send an item, try putting a note in with it saying āas a new seller on the Folksy website, I would be really grateful if you could take a minute to leave some feedback about your purchaseā and see if that generates any reviewsā¦

Thank you, I do add a little note as you suggest, I think itās probably because I always leave reviews if I can, so I just assumed wrongly that other people would.
