Give a Review

A lady who recently bought a pen from my shop wants to give a review. How does she do this please. I cannot work out how she can do it.

Folksy should send her an email for a review, or if she’s a member it should come up on her dashboard or the like

The email that folksy sends out is sent about a week after you mark the order as shipped, if they haven’t received it after that date then get them to check their spam folder.

Why the hell isn’t there a Leave a Review button on the main pages of each person’s account? I’ve bought several things this month and can’t leave a review. I don’t have access to the email used at the moment so this stops me? No wonder none of my recent sold items have reviews! We shouldn’t have to hound clients via email for reviews.

It’s so that only people who actually purchased items can leave reviews, to prevent spurious reviews being left by random people.

I don’t think that one polite ‘were you happy with your purchase’ follow up email from Folksy counts as Hounding!

@VioletFlameGlassArt There is. If you’re logged in to your account, go to dashboard > activity > reviews, there you will find a list of everything you’ve bought with either the review you left for the item, or a link to leave a review.

Agreed Helen. I have never ever asked a customer for a review. They do get the followup from Folksy and that is obviously quite good enough… I see I’ve had another couple in the last 2 days and no hounding required. :slight_smile:

I don’t have that or I can’t see it. One or the other. I have no idea why but that’s how it is. And yes, I’m logged in when I’m buying and trying to review. I’m wondering if it’s a glitch on my computer or a problem with Google Chrome.

Seems these links are not visible to me for some reason. Very frustrating.
